iPhone sync - protected files

I've a new problem on Big Sur.

I've 74 protected (DRM) music files in iTunes that were purchased via the iTunes Store on my old Apple ID, which I am still linked up to as a 'family member'.

When trying to sync my music library to my iPhone SE (2020), I get the following message:

"Some iTunes Store files were not copied to the iPhone “Andrew’s iPhone” because the iPhone may only contain content from five Apple IDs."

Now, what's actually happening is that just FIVE protected files out of the 74 from my old ID are syncing to the phone. Only have music files from two IDs on my Mac, and they're both mine (and linked as mentioned above).

Somewhere there seems to be a bug that's mistaking five files for five IDs! Anybody encountered this / got a workaround?

TIA

Yep, thanks - I had already authorised the Mac, and the files play in iTunes without any issue.

Actually solved the problem now, albeit by accident! I decided to copy the 74 files out of iTunes in to a folder on my desktop, with the idea of deleting and reimporting. However, only 73 of the files would copy. So, deleted the original 74 and reimported the 73, and they all synced to the phone without issue. Seems there was a rogue music file in there that was causing the issues :)
