Mouse trouble

Thank you for the reply. I have rebooted the Mac several times my mouse arrow is up on the left top of the monitor right beside the Apple however I cannot get it to move. The whole system is still locked up. I could kick myself because I noticed a few weeks ago it was running kind of slow so I got one of these things caught a fix me stick for a Mac I thought I had a virus and I ran this thing and that’s when I locked up. I’m not saying that’s the culprit but I don’t know why it would do this.

I have the wireless mouse and there’s that little plug that plugs into the back of the I Mac. I’m unsure if that’s for the mouse or the keypad. I found a video how to navigate using your keys. Long story short I got it working. The problem is the mouse has lost its connection to the I Mac. I have changed the batteries and it won’t connect. The I Mac says the Bluetooth is on and then I try to reconnect the mouse but it won’t see the mouse. The little green light on the mouse is blinking. I don’t know how it would lose its connection anyway. Thank you so much for the reply.

I am unsure if the whole machine is locked up. When I reboot it the box for me to enter my password is there and I hit the enter key and the system opens up. But my mouse arrow is still stuck.
