Brand new iPad Pro, out of the box it asks me to update Apple ID Settings, but I get a continuous "circle" and it never finishes. Eventually, the iPad goes to sleep and Settings is frozen, until I close it manually and re-open it, but it still asks me to update Apple ID settings.

Force restart your iPad and then start again.
Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Power button until the device restarts.
