Aside from the Find my Device method, are there any other ways I can erase all the data from my iPhone using another device (iPad)?

My iPhone is not functioning anymore and I wish to delete all of the data in it. I tried the Find my Device method however, it requires the device to be connected to the internet before erasing all the data in the iPhone. Are there other methods I can use to erase all the data in my iPhone using another device (iPad) without requiring the iPhone to be connected to the internet before erasing all the data in it? Thanks!
