Cannot delete or move folder user/Public/Drop Box/

Hi guys,

I have a fresh install Big Sur since of last night with no data migrated. Only my iCloud was synced.

I found a folder in my /Users/Saro folder that I don't know why it's there and I want to delete it. I don't even have Drop Box installed. Finder is not letting me delete it. If I move it it just duplicates to the new location. If I drag it in Trash, nothing happens.

I checked if I have permission and if the file is locked. I even tried deleting it via terminal. With no success.

Please advise!

Thank you

There will be a lot of files and folders on your Mac that you don't know why they are there, and that is not a reason to remove them. The Public folder and its internal Drop Box (unrelated to Drop Box service) folder are created by the operating system when your account is created, and are purposely blocked from removal. Leave them alone.
