How to change email address in apple Ids

Hi,

I bought and iPad and I want to give my old iPad to my son because he has all his games there.

These are the options I would like to do:

I would like to use his email address as the appleID of his iPad and use my email address(the one is the Apple Id currently) in my new iPad.
I could use the same Apple ID (keeping my email address) in both iPads but, is it possible to delete the games in my new iPad and keep them in the old one?
Or to keep my appleID in the old iPad (keeping my email address) and use my another email address in my new appleID (BUT! I use this email address as a secondary email adress in my current apple ID so, I cannot use it for my new iPad, i think)

I hope you can help me.

If you/he want to keep his progress in the games, if they are signed into using your Apple ID, he will need to continue using your Apple ID for the games.

For other things, when changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion. If possible, also set up Family Sharing between the IDs to keep access to your apps/purchases.
