Default option on iTunes for backing up iPhone

Upon startup or refresh of the device page in iTunes, the device page -> Backups section -> Automatically Back Up section option keeps defaulting to "iCloud". I believe this was changed perhaps in the last 6 months because iTunes used to remember my setting of backing up to "this computer". I manually backup periodically and I do not expect my last setting to change on its own. Is there a way to make this option setting so that it remains set to backup to "this computer"?
