Home Sharing: no libraries available

Using a 2013 MacBook Air MD760LL/A with iTunes. Trying to stream media to my 4k Apple TV but the orange "Computers" icon on Apple TV states "no libraries available" when I click it even though the Macbook Air is listed on my devices (same wifi network). Sharing and Home Sharing enabled in iTunes (entire library). Help - please advise.

Yes, thanks. Only running High Sierra 10.13.6 at this point. In the "Sharing" panel in System Prefs, 'Media Sharing' is not listed I noticed (see screenshot1). However, I can play movies (or music) directly from iTunes to ATV by just clicking the play button on each movie icon within iTunes itself. ATV icon is listed as an option to play (small blue icon). Airplay is not enabled. When I do it, this is the way my laptop screen looks (screenshot2). So must do everything manually through iTunes I guess..
