New iPhone 12 won't verify my number

I just got my new phone (12 - had a 6). I was able to transfer everything to my new phone, pretty simple, but for some reason, it won't verify my number!! I can't text!!! HELP!

I did not. Let me try that right now. I just thought I had to transfer it all and I was done.

You need to activate the iPhone with e-SIM or a new SIM or with your iPhone 6 SIM.
