Repair admin profile

An application I use frequently (ManyCam) has suddenly stopped working. It crashes straight away when I launch it. However, it works fine under a new profile that I created (not even Admin, just Guest). Makes me think there's something wrong with my normal Admin profile.

I think using the new profile is a "band-aid" solution - I would like to fix the issue with my normal profile.

I run all maintenance scripts available under CleanMyMac X, as well as running First Aid from the Recovery Boot.

I can't find any solutions on the net as to how to fix/repair my Admin profile - and I looked hard!

Any ideas welcome! Thanks.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...
