Stop watch after lap swim

I can’t seem to stop my watch at the end of my lap swim. Seems to only stop after it is drained which does not provide accurate times.

iPhone 7, iOS 13

At the end of your swim turn turn the digital to turn the water lock off,then you can stop the workout.
