Adobe CS6 compatability with apple silicon

I currently own the Adobe CS6 and LightRoom 6 software and it runs on my old IMac (mid 2011) .Will it be functional in the world of Apple silicon in the Mac Mini??

I don’t need a subscription based software package.

An alternative to Photoshop is Affinity Photo? Non-subscription,

inexpensive and quite powerful and can utilize many Photoshop

plugins.

For Lightroom, at least for RAW processing, I us DxO PhotoLab4

which converts RAWs much, much better than Lightroom and

if you purchase the Elite version, the noise reduction is the

best of any RAW image processor. Also, their lens correction

is superb as the painstakingly test each lens and camera

combinations and not just obtain generic manufacturer data

like Adobe.

In terms of photo management, taking, and browsing, you

can install the Adobe Creative Cloud app and then download

and install Adobe Bridge 2021 for free.

I personally use all three in my photo processing workflow.

When the Photoshop CS 6 installation starts in macOS 10.14 there is an error: "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." This workaround should get the installer going: Right-click (or Control-click) the installer and choose Show Package Contents. In the Install window that opens in the Finder, go to the Contents/MacOS folder, and in there, double-click Install. That will open the Terminal application, some lines of code will automatically run, and the actual Installer should successfully launch. Further unimportant updates (Adobe Bridge CS6, Adobe Extension Manager CS6, Photoshop Camera Raw 7) also fail in macOS 10.14 while they are OK in macOS 10.13.
