How do I remove duplicate Calendar entries

After logging out and back in of iCloud on my Mac Mini to take care of some glitches I find that *all* of my Calendar entries have been duplicated. That is all events I’ve entered, but not the automatic holidays, nor birthdays grabbed from Contacts.

How do I get rid of the duplicates without having to manually select and delete each one?

Also found that my signatures in Mail have disappeared, although that’s not a big deal, comparatively.

BTW, Calendar entries are not duplicated on my iPhone or iPad and Mail signatures are intact on both those devices.

Mac Mini late 2014, OS 11.2.3
