No Big Sur Audio Through Headphone Jack

Peter, its working fine for me. Have you checked what the sound preference pane? I'm assuming it is listed as External Headphones - Headphone port?? Have you tried switching back and forth between iMac speakers and headphones? Did that make it work? What have you tried.

Have you tried to boot into SAFE mode and see if you get sound via the headphone jack?

Hi Peter,

My headphone jack has stopped working on mac mini M1 as of this morning. The external speakers and associated cables are functioning correctly.

Rebooted, cleared caches etc. but still not working.

Tried the SAFE mode reboot.

Reviewed sound preferences.

Found sound working again.

Rebooted as normal and sound working again.
