Hard to use snooze feature with alarm

I have an XS max n 14.4.2, hitting the snooze or turning off the alarm couldn't be any easier, just either tap snooze or stop at the bottom.

so I just did a test, set an alarm and kept my phone unlock got a banner - wiped down on the banner and had the option to snooze or stop.

When my phone is locked I get the full screen.

Thank you. I’ll try the swiping down and also just realized that I recently set the phone to never lock. I’ll set it back to locking after 5 minutes and see if I can get the alarm to show full screen immediately. Never made that connection to unlocked screen until you told me about it.
