I have a long document that I exported to Word from Pages. When typing in Word and typing a space, the cursor does not move. Once I type the first character in a sentence the space character shows up. Very strange! This does not happen when creating a new document in Word.

I turned the hidden characters ¶ on and off a couple of times and the issue seems to cleared up. Thank you for your suggestion.
