How is my daughter making subscription purchases on iPhone 5 without my consent or sending me an ask for buy notification? Ask for buy is on. Is it because iPhone 5 doesn’t support this feature? I have iPhone 8

For technical reasons, the iPhone 5 cannot be upgraded past iOS 10.3.4, which limits its ability to handle new functions. However, if you have feedback for Apple, you can use this link:

So the ask to buy function that I have enabled for my daughter on her iPhone 5 does not work? Real shame Apple are making their hardware useless after a certain time so we have to buy new. This was not the vision of Steve Jobs. Bad for the environment and sustainability simply to make profit.
