I know that, if you try to charge an older iPhone on a MagSafe charger (like the 11), that it just uses regular Qi charging. If I have an iPhone 12 with a case too thick for MagSafe charging (but not too thick for regular Qi), will a MagSafe charger pad still charge the iPhone 12 using regular Qi charging? In other words, will it use Qi charging on the iPhone 12 if the case is too thick for MagSafe?

Thank you for your reply. I don’t mean to be rude, but this doesn’t respond to my question. To reiterate my original question, I’m asking if an Apple MagSafe charger will use regular Qi charging to charge an iPhone 12 (like that charger does with older iPhones) if the case is too thick to allow for MagSafe charging (but not too thick for Qi wireless charging).
