Accidentally deleted entire page of apps

I don’t know what I did or how I did it, but I somehow deleted the entire first page of apps from my iPhone. I have an XS max and it is updated to the newest iOS. The first page had ALL the most important apps for me. Can I recover the entire page somehow? How did I delete an entire page with multiple apps?

try tapping and holding on the screen until the apps start wiggling.

then tap the area with the dots right above the dock

Is your first page shown there, but not checked? If so, check it and you should be good to go again

With iOS 14 you can hide a page. To unhide, see below from Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone - Apple Support

With iOS 14, you can easily hide pages to streamline how your Home Screen looks and add them back anytime. Here's how:

  1. Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen.
  2. Tap the dots near the bottom of your screen.
  3. Tap the circle under the page that you want to hide.
  4. Tap Done.

To unhide a page, repeat the steps above. Then use the App Library to quickly find apps hidden on different pages.
