imac will not update latest update

iMac will not update latest update released 4/26/2021. Keeps tell me to check internet connection which is working. I restart computer and check internet but download continues to fail after about 10 minutes.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 11.2

From your post, it appears that you are having an issue with updating your Mac.  We want to help. To make sure that we are covering everything, please follow the steps in this article that talks about How to update the software on your Mac - Apple Support It’s always a good idea to back up your Mac before updating. 


If you still have an issue updating, you can let's see if you can update via safe mode. Here are a few quick notes about safe mode:


- Safe mode often looks and responds a bit different than what you're used to.

- Safe mode does not load everything that normally loads during a regular startup.

- Safe mode is a bit slower while loading and during normal operation as well.

- These differences can be cleared-up by a normal restart.
