In Finder, find and double click any .pages file.

This should launch Pages, and place its icon on the Dock.

Click and hold on the icon, move the pointer to Options, and choose Keep on Dock.

Or,

In Finder, open a new Finder Window,

Locate and double click on Applications in the left sidebar.

Locate Pages in the list of applications, then drag its icon (and file name) onto the Dock, dropping it where you want it to appear on the Dock.

Regards,

Barry
