iphone se passcode error. what happens if you guess wrong in trying passcode?

After enough failed attempts, your phone will be "disabled" for 5 minutes. If you continue to input incorrect passcodes, that time will keep increasing. See the attached article if you have forgotten your passcode. - If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
