Download image to Photo

when we download a picture/image from the internet; it is possible to open the image via photos app?

Hi - Yes, but you will need to import it into photos first via file>import.

Or - (at least on Big Sur) if you use safari, and right click an image on a webpage, one of your options is to add the image to photos)
