When trying to reinstall Mac OS. Get error a required download is missing.

Laptop would not boot anymore try to reinstall it by using the command+r on power up but getting error A required download is missing.

Please see the following article, especially the section "Other macOS installation options" which shows the right key combinations (command+R is not one of them): How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support.

I did follow this form earlier and it did not work... When i try over the internet... it keep timing out and i am receiving another error message.

Also it showing over 5000 hours just to complete the install. Any other solution.

The error that is happening right now... cant download the additional components needed to install Mac OS X
