i forgot my password for ipad and cant seem to restore it to remove password

What happens when you try to restore it? If you get an error code, what is it? Did you follow the steps in the support document you linked to the forum with? See this if need be. If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support
