How do I remove my Stuff from my old MacBook Air?

I purchased a new MB Air M1and transferred my stuff to it several months ago. I've still been using it off and on and checking to make sure all my stuff is on my new MB Air. Now I want to remove my stuff from my old MB Air (Mid 2012) to like new purchase. My granddaughter will be getting my old MB Air.
