Apple ID on two phones

I recently bought another phone and I am using same Apple ID. I want to have same app, contacts, files and photos between both phones. I want to keep phone log and messages separate. Can this be done? If I go to iCloud and turn off messages will this fix the issue? Also I receive calls on both phones even though they are different numbers how do I fix

Hi,

To receive messages separately on your two iPhones:

  • Disable iCloud messages on your second iPhone
  • On your first iPhone, go to settings/messages/text message forwarding/disable forwarding to your second iPhone

To don’t receive calls from your first iPhone on your second iPhone:

  • On your first iPhone, go to settings/phone/Calls on other devices/turn off
