I connected my iMac to my TV but I only see my desktop home screen on the TV (not the video i am streaming)

I have connected my iMac to my TV and the TV displays to the iMac screen but does not show the streaming video??

By default, the dual display setup is in Extended Desktop Mode. If you want to move the video window or other windows to the TV, then you need to hold the window by the top bar and drag it over to the TV screen.


The other option is to select Mirror Displays, which will display the same thing on both the iMac and TV screens.
