iTools privacy concerns
Hi everybody,
I recently came across this piece of software called "iTools 4". I have a friend whose parents use it to spoof their location when following him around town and the software mirror his iPhone to his parents' PC wirelessly. He has been spied for quite awhile with no way of finding out.
I did some digging online but most of the discussions either come from PokemonGO communities or are 4-9 years old.
I'm not very knowledgeable on software security but this seems like a major security lapse on iOS devices. Can someone shed some light on how this iTools software works, how much access/data/permission it has on our devices, and if it is a security risk?
