Macos 10.13 high sierra download

I have a mid 2010 macbook pro and I need to upgrade the OS from 10.12.6 to 10.13 version. I am trying to download the 10.13 high sierra from Apple support link but it looks like to be either damaged or corrupted. Is there any way this can be downloaded?

Thanks,

Ram

The Age of this computer will Govern what newer version of macOS it will Qualify to install. Use About this Mac from the Apple Icon on Desktop - the required Information will be there.

With the above information in-hand - follow this How to get old versions of macOS and verify what version this computer Qualifies to install. Make sure to use Only Safari to commence the download as Other may not work

Make a Time Machine Backup Before attempting.

If you get a corrupted message...

Naw, not damaged, it's just that you have an old copy already in Applications, there are 2 cures...

Disconnect from the Internet & set the Date back to 2014, then you can run the Install MacsOS High Sierra App in Applications, so expired Certificates are not expired.

Or... trash the Install MacsOS High Sierra.app in Applications, empty trash & restart, then a new copy of a more recent version can be downloaded…

That error message is misleading, what it actually means is the App Store has detected a copy of the

Install macOS High Sierra.app in your Applications folder or else where on your mac or connected drives.

Locate it, move it to the Trash, empty the Trash.

Connect your mac to your router via cable.

Restart your mac.

Go back to the App Store High Sierra download page it should now say Get or Download

not Open as it did before.
