How Do I Charge My New Phone?

I just purchased the iPhone SE (2020). There is what looks like a charging cable in the box, but it doesn't have a cube and it doesn't fit in my old cube.

iPhone SE, iOS 14

If you have a lightning cable that can fit in both the iPhone and the old charger, then you can use that.

If you want to use the included cable, you will need a USB-C charger. Any 5watt or higher rated USB-C charger will work.

18watt or higher rated chargers will provide Fast charging to the iPhone.

There's also the option of using the Mag Safe magnetic chargers or any Qi certified wireless charger if you want.

Thanks for the good info. Much appreciated.

I can’t connect my Mac book pro with this cable either. Old ratty cable to the rescue for that too I guess. There’s a port on our Dell that fits it, so maybe everyone is going for the USB-C. 🤷‍♀️

There’s nothing like getting a new iPhone to let you know that your stuff is getting old!
