Can I bring my iPad for trade in, at the apple store? If so, do I get the trade in value right then and there or do I have to wait?

Yes, you can trade-in a device at an Apple Store. If your old device qualifies for Apple’s trade-in programme, you will receive its value either as instant in-store credit to spend against an item or your choice - or receive a gift card to spend against a future purchase.
