Pages, putting a text box on an image.

How do I put a text box on top of an image on pages without changing the layout of the whole page.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

In a Word processing document, select both the text box and the image. Visit the Arrange panel, and set Text Wrap to None. The last object to be inserted will be the current foreground object. If that was the text box, then drag over the image. If it was the image, select it, and from the Arrange panel, choose Back.
