Any advice on back cracked on my iPhone 12 Pro Max I’ve only had it for 4 months and it just shattered without even dropping it it was in my back pocket and later on that day I look at it and I noticed back it cracked. I am so disappointed and it’s frustrating that Apple wants to charge $599 seems unfair because it false advertisement to say it survives drops. I’ve never had any issues on prior iPhones I owned

My understanding is the back glass is fused to the case and cannot be replaced separately. The entire phone has to be replaced.

Surviving a drop is not the same mechanics as pressing it against a, um, curved surface. I wince everytime I see a cellphone in the back pocket of somebody wearing tight jeans.
