According to this Apple document, About AirPrint - Apple Support, your model is AirPrint compatible. Go to the System/Printers & Scanners preference pane, Control (right) - click on your printer and select "Reset printing system…" Then add the printer back with AirPrint.

It might be that the driver that you are using to connect the printer might not be compatible for MacOS Big Sur or the printer might not be compatible with MacOS Big Sur.
