Numbers

On my Numbers spreadsheet I want the date and time stamp, when I do any changes, to be recorded in a specific cell.

Can you walk me thru the procedure?

You have to input date-time stamps manually.

That's easy. Just click the cell where you want a stamp and choose Insert Current Date or Insert Current Time from the Table menu. Or type control-shift-command-d or control-shift-command-t.

Note that either way both a date and a time are inserted, and that you can change the Data Format to show both.

I need to have today’s date and time automatically recorded in a separate specific cell every time I make an entry into my spreadsheet. Can this be done on my MacBook Numbers

version 3.6.2?Thanks

No, sorry, that can't be done. At least not easily. It is theoretically possible via a script. But that is hardly worth the trouble, especially given how quick and easy it is to insert a date-time stamp manually.

BTW, highly recommend upgrading. Numbers 3.6.2 is very old!
