Can I use my iPhone or my Mac and play music in lossless format on my external Airplay 2 speakers ?

AirPlay (1 and 2) are currently already capable of delivering lossless audio up to 44.1 kHz (48 kHz for video contents).
It's yet to be seen how Apple Music lossless streaming will be handled through AirPlay. It's expected to roll out this month.
Thanks for your reply ! Yes, this is what I was thinking but Apple in its FAQ didn't mention Airplay at all... That's why I was wondering. Let's see how does it work then ! ;)
