Need to get into previous iCloud email

I recently made a new Apple ID and didn't know it would delete my existing iCloud email off my phone. I have tried to add that email account to my outlook but it wont let me. It says I need to have an app specific password now but it still isn't really working. I have important emails on that email account that I still need access to. If I had known that it wouldve deleted the email account after making the new ID i wouldve waited or saved the eamils beforehand. Is there a way to either regain access to the emails or forward them to a different email account?

Hello faithh0pel0ve,

It sounds like you created a new Apple ID but still have email attached to your old account in iCloud. Let’s help.

In this scenario, if you still know the login credentials for the old Apple ID account, you can log in directly via the iCloud website below and view your email there.

iCloud

If you’re able to access them from the site, you can then forward the emails to your preferred location. If you would like to automatically forward any new incoming messages from that old account to a new one, check out the steps below to set up forwarding.

Automatically forward email in Mail on iCloud.com

We hope that helps. Take care.

Refer to the Following:

Use a New App Password for Hotmail:

While in Hotmail, Go To:

  1. User Name(Top-Right)
  2. View account (Second Option Down)
  3. Security (third tap in from top-left)
  4. More security options (Far-Right)
  5. App passwords (Third Pane Down)
  6. Create a new app password
  7. Click Done
  8. Use the app password provided for a synchronized app

Export these as One Batch:

Go Here: Export or backup email, contacts, and calendar to an Outlook .pst file | Outlook Help

then...

Import Them: Contact the new eMail provider on how to do so.
