What is the best way to be able to monitor all apps and aspects of your child's iPhone. Apple does not give parents enough tools to do this when their child is a minor so what is the workaround or software that is out there to monitor all social media apps including Snapchat. I realize Snapchat will be harder.
But there has to be some kind of software out there.
I dont want them to know i am watching.

Not when it's a minor, sorry but no. Just because it's an electronic device and ADULTS are given privacy (even that is only to a degree, i.e. location, history and cookies, search learning to "fit you and your habits", etc).... That should never apply fully to a minor due to the fact THEY'RE KIDS. Would you let your 9 year old be alone with random strangers doing God knows what? Ummm....I would hope not. Just because it's on a device doesn't mean their actions aren't tracked by OTHER predators hacking them or stalking them.... so sorry, it goes both ways. If my child isn't of the age to understand all the serious dangers that are attached to device... Nope, no privacy cause it's my JOB as a parent to ensure they STAY SAFE and so they don't do something dangerous to others also. I don't care who the company is, the point is, it's a child in a grown up world of the internet and instant access to EVERYTHING including all those predators, cyber criminals, and even just inappropriate/explicit content. Are you absolutely out of your mind?! "Breech of privacy" HA! No it's called being a responsible adult and parent...... I love this new world that everyone is "entitled to everything instantly". How about you earn my trust THEN maybe I'll show you I trust you it's kind given children lie and manipulate, it's part of being a teen. But my child, I'd like to keep them safe and not make them an adult far before they should be with all the garbage out there.

You're on the Apple Support Communities. This is for assistance with Apple Products and Apple Services. If you are looking for something outside of Apple, it's probably best that you search outside of Apple for what you are looking for. You asked for what you could use and the response that you get is suggestions based on what you already have.

If you are so worried about what your minor is doing on their phone, then don't give them one. If there is some reason that they need a phone, then get them a basic phone where all they can do is make and receive calls in an emergency. They are a minor, they aren't going to be able to get one on their own and they aren't going to be able to put it on a plan as they are a minor. So in that aspect, you have complete control over what they are going to be able to do.

Kind of a huge privacy breech don't you think?
If it was an option for you to spy on your child's phone without the possibility of being detected, wouldn't it be an option for anyone? Including predators?
Every iPhone user is entitled to strong privacy. Regardless of their age.

Take the phone away from them and provide a basic flip phone for communication.
Technology and Apple will not solve your issues.

I'm sorry I forgot it's hard to think outside the box and be a fan of software but realize its limitations. SMH
