Garageband crashing (assuming it's from AU sampler)

I have the newest MacBook Pro (M1) and I'm having an issue I couldn't seem to find an answer for. Any time I load a saved song that includes any AU sampler tracks, it crashes on startup. Sometimes the track will open, but the samples won't play or it will give say "An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable. Please quit and restart GarageBand."

. Confirmed that it's only tracks with AU sampler. This sucks because I spent all night on a song. Any answers would be appreciated.
