I used to use the portrait mode a lot on my older ipad’s back camera, why on earth was this feature removed on my newer ipad pro? Surely this is just down to software? Any chance of the feature being reinstalled?

When I choose Portrait mode it switches from the back camera to the front facing camera.
Non portrait mode on back camera on ipad pro?
