setting up Apple TV

In the Apple doc on setting up Apple TV 4K (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205358) the diagram shows power and HDMI cables and ports; it also shows the broadband network connection but no cable. Does this mean Apple TV does not need a broadband connection? I have wifi and broadband elsewhere in the house, but no broadband connection to the TV. So, can I use Apple TV?

If you have a strong WiFi signal where the Apple TV would sit, it will work just fine. If you have an Ethernet connection from your router to where the Apple TV would sit, that would work fine too.
