💡 Did you know?

General and ongoing cleaning can help you maintain your AirPods or AirPods Pro.

Why is one AirPod quieter than the other?

I’ve had my AirPods for about half a year now and the left AirPod has begun to create an issue. The issue is the fact that it is quieter than my right AirPod and my audio experience is being interfered with. There is sound coming out of it as I have tried to readjust the balance of sound between the AirPods and as a result I have found that the left AirPod is producing a much more quieter audio. I’ve heard of the sucking the AirPod method but I admit I am a bit skeptical of that method. Any Suggestions?

- Customize headphone audio levels on your iPhone or iPad --> https://support.apple.com/HT211218#manually-adjust

Check the audio level balance. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Visual > Balance

(On older systems: Settings > General > Accessibility)

Ir seems like you have tried that.

In general make sure there is nothing blocking or stuck in the tip.
