DNS changer malware

How can I find out/know if my iMac 27inch(mid 2011) desk top running High Sierra10.13.6 using Safari 13.1.2 or the modem? Has been infected with DNS Changer malware?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

Start with a scan of your Mac.

MALWAREBYTES

You can download and run Malwarebytes, it’s a very popular scan tool among veteran users here in the Community, and it’s the only one recommended by Apple tech support folks. See if it can identify any malware you may inadvertently have installed. The free version is probably all you need at this point.

I understand it may be difficult to get to if your browser has in fact been hijacked. If need be, use another Mac to download the utility and carry it over on a thumb drive.
