Hi meme294,

currently AirPods can not be located in the find my app when not connected to a device.

In your case if you are 100% sure they aren’t with you then the app is displaying it’s last known location.

the find my app will only play a sound on the AirPods when your device is in Bluetooth range but the the location of the AirPods cannot be updated unless connected to a device.
