Why is my iphone not charge above 80 percent

Hi, this is due to a feature of your device called Optimized Battery Charging. It aims to reduce battery wear and tear by only charging the battery to 80% until it is close to being used again.

If you have an erratic usage pattern this feature can be more annoying then it is helpful which is understandable, in this case you should disable it in Settings>Battery and toggling Optimized Battery Charging>Off.
