They lied. You were conned. They are NOT a legitimate company.

Contest the charges on your card IMMEDIATELY.

Disconnect your Mac from the Internet IMMEDIATELY.

It has been compromised and the con artists why suckered you may have remote access to your Mac and all of the data on it.

Checklist: If you want to see if anyone else has access to your device or accounts

Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication Once enabled there are 14 Days before it is LOCKED and can not un-enroll

Unless you allowed these folks access to your Apple ID or your Mac, you’re fine. Your Mac is fine, too.

If you did allow these folks access, then you’re quite possibly in for some hurt here, and in for more than a little remediation including re-loading and re-securing your environment and changing all of your passwords.

Call your local police department and file a report. They probably won't do anything, but it would be a good idea to have an official police report number going forward. You may need that if you need to dispute future credit card charges or deal with identify theft.

As KiltedTim says, your computer and all of your data has been compromised. There is no way for us to know exactly what they got from you. Obviously they have any information you told them. They also have any information that was on your computer. They may have installed backdoors to get access to your computer in the future too.

It might be a good idea to call Apple and ask for more detailed advice. I'm sure Apple gets these reports all the time, so they may have a checklist of steps you can take to secure your data and online accounts. The same goes for your credit card and bank accounts. Call them to report the incident and hopefully they will send you some additional information on how to secure your accounts.

More likely you were scammed. Hopefully you didn't give them any personal information or credit card numbers.

You got scammed. As stated above, disconnect from the network, contest the charges, and re-install macOS and apps, and to change ALL of your passwords.
