Hi @AlexFoley, I also have a 2017 MacBook Pro which has developed this problem, I contacted Apple and have also taken it to my local Apple store but they said I would have to pay for the repair (approx £500). If it Is a well known problem and design fault with these models I don't believe we should have to pay for the repair. I am devastated.
