icloud and family sharing

We have a family setup where I am the organizer , my wife and kids are family members. we run in the situation where the icloud storage is almost full and we want that my wife starts using her own icloud storage, while still remaining being part of the family. is it possible? how to do it? the only option i see is to stop sharing the icloud with the whole family, there is no option of stoping the sharing per person. would the steps be: 1. stop sharing with everyone; 2. add sharing only with kids; 3. my wife signs up for her own icloud storage? would this work?

I don't know if this would work but it is related to something which lets you get up to 4TB storage with Apple One and that would be for her to now subscribe for iCloud storage on her own. I am not saying get Apple One, but see if she can get her own plan while still being part of Family Sharing by doing this after being part of the family iCloud group. If you wish you can contact Apple and double check if this would work:
