Hey all,
I am using a dell docking station with 2 monitors connected to it with my M1 Macbook pro. When i connect the usb-c, the two external monitors duplicates the display and not extend it. And on the display in system preference i see only 2 arrangements. Has anyone else faced this issue? Thanks
I recently purchase the new MacBook pro and now see it only supports one external monitor. This is a big problem for me. Any work arounds? I wish that was clear in the documents before I laid out the cash.

The M1 MacBook (pro/air) only supports 1 external display.

I agree! I wish I’d known this before spending $1200. I love my MacBooks but I already have had to buy adapters to use anything I previously owned (I know this is how it works it’s just frustrating)and now when I have to have 2 larger monitors to work I can’t do it. I hope I can get my money back 🥺
Do we know when the fix will happen. I have tried all sorts of configurations and I cannot get my second monitor and it is really impacting my work. I spent $1600 on my MacBook Pro and I’m not real thrilled I wish I had known.

It is very clear in the "documents".

There is no "fix". The specs for that computer are published in the link I posted above.
